With the release of Version 1.2.2, users now have the ability to add selected accessories or upgrades directly from their item inventory to their vehicle profiles. This includes additional fuel tanks, roof racks, towing equipment, and more.

Following is a guide on how to add an accessory to the Vehicle profile.

This how-to expects you to have already created a Vehicle profile and an inventory item

Steps:

Update inventory Item

• Open the Weigh that Tow app and navigate to the Items Inventory.
  
• From the inventory, select the item (or create a new one) to use as an attachment to your Vehicle.
  
• Within the item edit screen, there is a new option, "Attached to Vehicle".
  
  
• Ensure this is selected and click "Update Item" to save the changes.
• You will now see a small icon of a car next to the weight in the inventory list.

You are now ready to attach this accessory to the Vehicle.

Once an item has been marked as an accessory, it will no longer be available in the Trip Profiles.

Add the accessory to a Vehicle

• Navigate to the Home screen and click on the Vehicle tile at the top left.
  
• From the list, select the Vehicle to attach an accessory.
  
• You should now see the option to add an accessory.
  
• Click the "+ Accessory" button to show the list of available accessories.
  
• Click the "Add to vehicle" button for each accessory. As each accessory is added, the list should be updated to show it as attached.
• Close this screen by pressing, pressing the top bar, and dragging down the screen.
• The accessory list should now show the added accessories.
  
• You can update the quantity of the accessories or remove the accessory from the edit screen by clicking on the edit icon.
  

Viewing the accessory details

• Navigate back to the Home screen.
• Click on the information icon in the bottom right of the Vehicle screen to see the Vehicle summary screen.
  
• It will now include the details for the accessories added.
  

Accessory weights will now be included in the Vehicle tare weight
